Festive and fun snack wraps shaped like diplomas and graduation caps, perfect for celebrating graduations with a creative, savory bite.

Ingredients

  • Diploma Wraps: 6 large flour tortillas, 6 slices deli turkey or ham (optional for vegetarian use cheese slices), 6 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese, 2 tablespoons cream cheese softened, 12 thin chive stems or green onion tops for tying
  • Graduation Caps: 12 square crackers such as Wheat Thins or similar, 12 round chocolate truffles or peanut butter cups mini size, 12 small pieces of fruit leather or thin licorice strings for tassels, 2 tablespoons melted chocolate for assembly

Instructions

Prepare the Diploma Wraps:
Lay out a tortilla and spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the surface. Place a slice of deli meat (or cheese for vegetarian) and a slice of cheese on top. Roll up the tortilla tightly into a log then cut in half to create two diplomas. Tie each wrap with a chive stem or green onion top to resemble a diploma scroll. Repeat with remaining tortillas and fillings.
Assemble the Graduation Caps:
Place a small dab of melted chocolate on top of each truffle or mini peanut butter cup. Press a square cracker onto the chocolate creating the caps flat top. Cut fruit leather or licorice into small strips for tassels. Use a small dab of melted chocolate to attach a tassel to the top of each cap.
